According to dak, these are the reverse dependencies of rygel:

gnome-control-center: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.6)
gnome-music: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.6)
gnome-online-miners: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.6)
gnome-photos: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.6)
grilo-plugins: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.11)
rhythmbox: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.0)
totem: libgrilo-0.2-dev (>= 0.2.10)

None of those packages uses valac afaics, so (temporarily) disabling
vala support in grilo should be fine.

The libmediaart transition is ongoing and it's always good to finish a
library transition early, so it doesn't get entangled with other
transitions.

I can't promise, that I actually get around to updating valac to 0.28 in
two days.

So if you don't mind the additional upload, which re-enables vala
support, I'd proceed with the packages you currently have in
experimental and upload them to unstable now.

I'll ping you, as soon as vala 0.28 is ready, then.

Michael
