First, sorry for the long lag.
I've forwarded your bug report to the radvd developers; I'm pretty
sure they'll accept your patch upstream, and I will include in the
next upload of the Debian package. For the sendmsg part, an strace
could be useful; run "strace -o strace.txt radvd OPTION..." and attach
the strace.txt file to your response.
