Package: vim Version: 1:6.4-004+1 Severity: normal After upgrading to this version, vim seems to want to coloise debian changelogs with the "; urgency=low" in red as if it were some kind of typo.
Easiest way to reproduce is to vim /usr/share/doc/vim/changelog.Debian.gz with syntax on and background=dark. That's all that I have in my .vimrc. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages vim depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgpmg1 1.19.6-21 General Purpose Mouse - shared lib ii libncurses5 5.5-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii vim-common 1:6.4-004+1 Vi IMproved - Common files ii vim-runtime 1:6.4-004+1 Vi IMproved - Runtime files vim recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- see shy jo
