Package: gnomebaker Version: 0.5.0-4 Severity: normal gnomebaker does not estimate the size of (at least, it's all I tested) 4.7GB DVD correctly. When trying to add 3 files of 1568399360 bytes each to the selection, gnomebaker only adds 2 of them and then shows "File or directory is too large to fit in the remaining space on the CD" as error. They do however fit on a DVD, I am splitting my backup archives into that size ever since using DVDs. Tricking gnomebaker into adding them to the selection by choosing 8.5GB DVD as disc size first, adding them and then setting it back to 4.7GB DVD shows the DVD 100% filled and burning the DVD works without problem. gnomebaker should use the very same formula for estimating the size that dvd+rwtools use to avoid any such surprise. (And likewise for CDs, if it doesn't already).
