Good suggestion. I'll look into this. I actually did something like this a while back when I wrote a little Python script to convert non-ASCII stuff from Microsoft CP1250 to the closest ASCII equivalent since a friend of mine kept sending email and making blog postings that he couldn't manage to convert to ASCII.
