Package: autofs
Version: 5.1.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

After updating autofs to 5.1.1 it no longer mounts "hidden" samba shares, i.e.
those with the dollar sign at the end. For example, C$, D$, ADMIN$ or
user-created ones. If I try to ls or cd into such a directory I get this:

> ls -la ADMIN\$
> ls: cannot open directory ADMIN$: No such file or directory

dmesg says:

[ 7193.180026] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -6

I have sufficient access rights to do it, I can enter any other folders without
the dollar sign, but those with it are unavailable. There's also a
non-protected folder, "Документы$", that's readable and writeable by anyone and
I can't enter it as well, so not an ACL issue I suppose. If I downgrade the
package to the Jessie's version, 5.0.8-2, it all works well and all the
"hidden" shares are available to me. Please note that it's the only change
required to make it work, I don't downgrade samba, smbclient etc., only the
autofs package.
