Dear Maintainer,

when opening one of the standard input file formats (SPECS .xy file), the
energy (x-) axis gets reversed:

If the input file is in binding energy, the x-axis is not taken as-is, but the
photon energy is subtracted, which reverses the axis. It does work properly, if
the input file has the x-axis as kinetic energy. So probably, the parameter
"Kinetic Energy Axis: yes/no" in the header is ignored.

This is a regression from the version 0.9.8-3 in Wheezy, where the import of
spectra with binding energy axis ("Kinetic Energy Axis: no") worked properly.

In the attached file "example.xy", the displayed x-axis should be from 119.87
to 139.87, and not 1340-1360 range.
