SQLite3 (and its libraries) and the libdbi database drivers are quite different from GNUCash. Just for the record, GNUCash has nothing to do with the libdbi drivers, it's linked directly to SQLite3.

But please note that as I see 'export accounts' does only what it says. Exports the account name, its currency and pretty much that's all.
