Package: vmdebootstrap Version: 0.7-1 setup_networking() writes an entirely new /etc/network/interfaces which does not do the standard
source-directory /etc/network/interfaces.d and thus silently ignores any configs there. I suggest that if /etc/network/interfaces.d exists, and does not already contain an eth0.cfg, it should write that instead. If /e/n/i does not exist, the above source-directory stanza should be included to stay compatible with what ifupdown itself does.
