Thanks for doing this! I only had a quick look over your diff. Why do you check for the string '<!'? More specifically: why do you check for the exclamation mark being present? The function checkbuilddep_restrictiondeps should be called independent of whether the first restriction list starts with a negated term or not. cheers, josch
