This bug report let's me learn things which i never wanted to know. X-) Can you point me to a comprehensive description of the problem ? (The Ubuntu bug report is somewhat scattered.) I am now reading https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/usb/power-management.txt On my system, all files /sys/bus/usb/devices/*/power/wakeup are either missing or contain the word "disabled". The ones of the BD drives are missing. /sys/bus/usb/devices/*/power/control has "auto" for the A-B.C and missing file for A-B.C:1.0. Does this look safe ?
