Package: djvulibre-bin Version: 3.5.25.4-4+b1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
The man page states that the output filename can be a dash or be omitted, in which case the output goes to /dev/sdtout. Assuming the documentation is correct, it's broken: $ ddjvu -format=tiff myfile.djvu > /tmp/kmasdkfe.tiff ddjvu: TIFF output requires a valid output file name. $ ddjvu -format=tiff myfile.djvu - > /tmp/kmasdkfe.tiff ddjvu: TIFF output requires a valid output file name. If this is a deliberate limitation of TIFF files in particular, the documentation should disclose the limitation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages djvulibre-bin depends on: ii curl 7.38.0-4+deb8u2 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libdjvulibre21 3.5.25.4-4+b1 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii libstdc++6 4.9.2-10 ii libtiff5 4.0.3-12.3 Versions of packages djvulibre-bin recommends: ii pdf2djvu 0.7.17-4+deb8u1 Versions of packages djvulibre-bin suggests: pn djvulibre-desktop <none> ii evince [djvu-viewer] 3.14.1-2 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
