Hi Ola,

I am not suggesting to put only ndsend into a separate package which
would be too small (12 kB) indeed. All 21 files in /usr/sbin (404 kB in
total) plus the man pages, etc. could be put into one separate package.
We already have packages in our archive that have a separate binary
package for the daemon.

Disabling the two init scripts would be a workaround. The drawback of
that solution is that the administrator has to disable the init scripts
of vzctl after installing our tool, which pulls in the former. So our
tools does not have a sane default configuration. Removing the init
scripts of vzctl in the postinst of our tools is also hacky.

Cheers,
Benjamin
