Hi, I developed two workarounds for this issue. The first package hooks into interfaces(5) and delays it for as long as the DAD needs to complete:
https://non-gnu.uvt.nl/debian/wheezy/send-na/
If that is not enough – for instance, if you want to bind to floating
addresses that may not (yet) be available at all – you can install:
https://non-gnu.uvt.nl/debian/wheezy/freebind/
and put the following line in /etc/default/unbound:
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/freebind/freebind.so
Unbound will then happily bind to any address.
