* The management of devices can now be controlled with udev rules. The veth devices as well as the virtual Ethernet devices of various virtualization tools (VMWare, VirtualBox, Parallels Workstation) are now ignored by default. debian/patches/Mark-virtual-ethernet-interfaces-as-unmanaged.patch should be dropped in favor of that. This needs further tests though, if the udev based approach is a full replacement or needs adjustments.
