I think it would be safer to build-depend on:
libglibmm-2.4-dev (>= 2.44.0-2)
libxml++2.6-dev (>= 2.38.1-2)
libgtkmm-3.0-dev (>= 3.16.0-2)
instead of their untransitioned versions.
Other than that, it looks fine. May I upload your changes without a
delay when the necessary packages reach unstable? If you have fixed the
build-dependencies in git by then, I'll do a sponsored upload of what's
in git; if not, I'll NMU based on your changes.
