Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
A working wheezy installation on a Sharp Mebius PC-CB1-M1
laptop was upgraded to jessie according to instructions in
      https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/release-notes/ch-upgrading .

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
Apart from this failure in screen resolution there were no
problems in the upgrade.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
The system works as expected except that the screen resolution is
800 x 600.
Prior to the upgrade, wheezy worked at 1024 x 768 for which the
machine is designed.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Jessie should operate at 1024 x 768 just as well as wheezy.

   * Output from xrandr. Absence of 1024 x 768 is significant.
lxrandr shows the
      same information in graphical form.
