Package: src:linux Version: 4.1.5-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Starting with 4.1.3-1 I'm no longer able to use ThreadSanitizer: $ echo 'void main(void){}' | gcc -pie -fPIE -fsanitize=thread -xc - && ./a.out FATAL: ThreadSanitizer: unexpected memory mapping 0x55d400945000-0x55d40094600 I don't know if this is a gcc or Linux bug but downgrading Linux to 4.0.8-2 or 3.16.7-ckt11-1 fix the problem. The problem can be reproduced with both gcc 4.9.3 and gcc 5.2.1.
