Hi, I also run into this bug after upgrading to jessie. I've restored the old config file from version 1.1 and have set it to read only. Geeqie complains on exit that it cannot save the config file (why wants it to save it anyway when I don't have changed the configuration?), but at least I don't have to rearrange the windows after every program start. Unfortunately this way I cannot change any settings in geeqie. So at least for me this bug also is important. ;)
