Please explain what you're after here. I'm not able to remove things myself, right? So I can't "take care" of the reverse dependency. Are you suggesting that we can't remove things from the archive because of a single abandoned package that users are desperately complaining about being gravely buggy?! Do you really see any use in preserving this unusable package in Debian? If anyone was interested in maintaining this package it could easily be updated to the latest upstream release which fixes lots of issues, but face the facts.... noone in the entire world cares about this package!
