Note that obviously it's all the /etc/default/openvpn settings that are getting ignored.
One workaround is to set _SYSTEMCTL_SKIP_REDIRECT=1 as follows:
_SYSTEMCTL_SKIP_REDIRECT=1
. /lib/lsb/init-functions
But that's obviously not a proper fix. If systemd is here to stay then
it should attain feature parity.
