It means that util-linux, just like almost any other package, is
maintained with volunteer efforts. That effort relies on contributions.
We share the burden. You repay my work with contributing your own
improvements. If you want an actual support contract then you can always
make me your bitch by paying the standard consulting fee... I need to
eat too.
My volunteer time is limited and this issue is nowhere near the
top of my list as it doesn't even affect me.
I hope you appreciate the free support (and shitload of free work)

You open up a bug report for every separate issue. Then attach
whatever information you can provide to each bug report.

Please do not mix up information about different issues in
all bug reports. Try also not to clutter the bug reports, eg.
do not send inquiries about support contracts through bug reports.
