Yes, and unfortunately there's nothing in the journal that points to
what that is. The first message mentioning the Nvidia module happens,
looking at the timestamps, at the same time as all the other devices are
discovered and the drivers loaded (intel sound chip, usb, etc).

Yes, the tests I've done were without any xorg.conf configuration.
