Package: ibniz
Version: 1.18-1
Severity: normal

When I was debugging #799408, I noticed that building with
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip [1] still strips debug symbols so I couldn't
get a proper backtrace. The fix for this appears to be to remove the -s
option from the compiler invocation in the upstream Makefile. I think
this should be fixed either upstream or with a patch (edit the Makefile
, run dpkg-source --commit, enter relevant metadata[2] and save the
patch) in the Debian package.
