as pointed out earlier, the -dev packages should be M-A:same and not foreign. For that, all files shared across architectures must be exactly the same and all files that do not have this property (like c-auto.h) must go into an arch specific path. So c-auto.h should go into a M-A:same libkpathsea-dev, in /usr/include/<triplet>/kpathsea/c-auto.h Thanks! cheers, josch
