I had other things that were wrong in my desktop behavior (mounting USB key , mounting it did stop launching dolphin, clock applet in the panel tray sometimes stopped at a given time, ..., so I decided to take the risk of removing (moving) the .config directory and the .kde directory and relogged.

This Problem disappeared as well as a few others. So this probably is a "config files" migration problem. While people installing new system may be unaffected, people migrating may be.
