I think it is very usefull to have an "open file" button in the dialog that is shown if gnucash is started and another instance uses the last opened file. Sometimes I compare to files and start two instances of gnucash. The second instances shows me a dialog that tells me the default file is used by another process and I can "exit", "open it otherwise" or "create a new account". But I want to open another account.
