Dear Maintainer,
Debian is great and you are doing a good job. I've been able to use it on my
rooted chromebook for about a year now with little to no issues and everything
worked out of box on Jessie!
* What led up to the situation?
I noticed that after I resumed from hibernation, the touchpad stopped
working. I begun to investigate a little and looked in dmesg and
/var/log/messages. Couldn't find much but I remembered in Wheezy
chromeos_laptop module was involved in problems with the touchpad.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
After resume from hibernation, I ran sudo rmmod chromeos_laptop && sudo
modprobe chromeos_laptop.
* What was the outcome of this action?
It fully fixed the problem.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I thought it might not fix it but luckily I found the problem quickly
