Private modules are automatically rebuilt upon major python upgrades, avoiding the need for strong dependencies. Public modules are automatically made available for all installed python versions. I have prepared a patched dh_python version that will make use of python-support, only for python-only modules. The behavior for C modules isn't changed. -- .''`.
