About this part, what I mean is that there was no previous working icedove being upgraded. So no accounts initialised or anything like that. I switched from unstable to experimental because that is what 'reportbug' prompted me to do. The experimental version failed to work in exactly the same way as the unstable one. I will look at getting more debug output and reply separately about that.
