Could you please update the patch to apply on upstream git master (see https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/shemminger/iproute2.git/ ), use "git format-patch --signoff HEAD^.." to export a "git am"-formatted patch containing a "signed off" statement and submit it to upstream (via [email protected] ... see also git-send-email) ? That would mean everyone gets to benefit from your improvements and Debian maintainers can avoid the overhead of maintaining a patch for the package. Regards, Andreas Henriksson
