As I was just reviewing the bugs for pycairo I see I hadn't yet
commented on this one.  cairo is now a requirement for gtk 2.8+ so that
is the route that cairo+gtk integration will be going.  I don't have any
plans to add the cairo.gtk part from here.

pygtk 2.7+ still isn't in sid either but it is in experimental. I'd
rather not clash with that too as the cairo + gtk work is going on
there, from what I read on http://live.gnome.org/PyGTK/WhatsNew28
