Package: emacs24-common
Version: 24.4+1-5
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Hi,

when I try to access the ELPA package archive, emacs hangs indefinitely
and needs to be killed. After a while, I found out that this is due to
the ELPA archive being accessible only via HTTPS, not HTTP. The attached
patch fixes this.

Cheers,
Toni
