Package: vnstat
Version: 1.12-2.1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

When a modem is disconnected (or stop responding) during an active ppp session,
vnstat would
report a 4G usage (upload and download).

if modem is disconnected while there is no ppp session the bug does not
happen.

example on my 8 mbps link (with a 10GB qouta) :

      18/10/15 16.51 GB | 16.03 GB | 32.54 GB | 3.16 Mbit/s
      19/10/15 8.83 GB | 8.05 GB | 16.88 GB | 1.64 Mbit/s
      02/11/15 5.38 GB | 4.04 GB | 9.41 GB | 913.89 kbit/s

It is not technicly possible to download 16 GB on that link
