That said, this should be resolved upstream which uses a pure systemd setup. Technically, this means that this bug is blocked on #777188 - Not updated to latest upstream. There are test debian packages available at upstream; you might want to give them a chance. However, wait until the review is completed and the debian packaging is available on a separate branch.
