Package: cloud-init Severity: normal Dear Maintainers,
Upstream cloud-init has hd a lot of work to fix many of the bugs listed against this package, including... the ability to resize partitions with modern tools (eg, old growpart that used to work is now a utility that prints info ABOUT a partition, but doesnt actually resize it). Any EC2 instance witht he curent cloud-init cannot resize its root parition as this version depends upon older packages that are no longer in Debian as expected. Meanwhile, ther distros have continued to package bzr snapshots of cloud-init from Launchpad, meaning that their images actually resize partitions and are very useful. Can you please update the Debian cloud-init package from a current bzr snapshot, and also deposit a copy in Jessie-backports. Ta. James
