Package: cron
Version: 3.0pl1-128
Severity: minor

Hello,
I found myself in a situation where I need to patch cron, and it is a huge pain
to handle that patch when the source package contains the debian changes
directly applied to the upstream source code.

Looking at the git repo history, it appears a set of patches "appeared" in
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-cron/pkg-cron.git/commit/?id=79fc5634b5af71c1c6a73692c96fe79586b85d87
but then it got also quickly removed in
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-cron/pkg-cron.git/commit/?id=9bc55b1ef8a3563ffa215983762b4f7d8bc52aea

I'm wondering if you plan on switching to '3.0 (quilt)' anytime soon, eventually
resurrecting the work done for 79fc563.

Thanks for considering,
Sandro
