Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.8
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
my WLAN access is set up as follows:
/etc/network/interfaces:
allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet manual
wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa-roam.conf
# this line must always be here
iface default inet dhcp
iface eduroam inet dhcp
/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa-roam.conf contains the necessary stuff to
connect to the specific networks.
After the upgrade to ifupdown 0.8, dhclient if not called automatically
anymore when connecting to the network and I therefore get no IP and
routing information. Downgrading to 0.7.54 solved the problem.
With best regards,
Julian Wollrath
