If that's the case, I think such fact should be properly expressed in the Build-Depends. Moreover, our "Arch: all" autobuilder is currently amd64. So we should either find a way to make it work on amd64, or a way to express that only i386 is allowed in the Build-Depends. I'm tagging this bug as "normal" as it seems it will not be trivial to fix, but I don't see anywhere that it's fixed. Thanks.
