I'm working here in my company also with a Exchange 2010 server via
IMAP/SMTP and have no trouble at all with Icedove from Jessie.

But something like "EWS" looks like Calendar Exchange Provider? Or do I
miss something? But as you use version 38.4.0-1~deb8u1 there is no
Debian package for this in backports.

There is also a hint for iceowl-extension on not remebered passwords,
maybe this is issue?
