Hi, the file you want is crtx384d3.o and not crtatxmega384d3.o (even i the new avr-libc). Dont know why he's suddenly trying to use crtatxmega384d3.o instead, but the issue seems to be in binutils. I'm reassigning the bug there and will keep looking...
