I had a look and came up with the following completely untested result: [Unit] Description=Start netenv at boot time Before=network-online.target After=local-fs.target hostname.service [Service] Type=oneshot #RemainAfterExit=yes ExecStart=/sbin/netenv [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target ... but given the Orphan bug for netenv states: "It currently does not work well with systemd but besides of that, there isn't any big issue." Maybe it's better to just file a RoQA RM bug for netenv given that: - it's orphaned+unmaintained and apparently noone is showing interest in picking it up. - it's known to not work well with the default init system already. - there are several similar alternatives already. Why not focus effort on improving those instead of duplicating effort? - popcon says there's basically noone even looking in the general direction of netenv. Regards, Andreas Henriksson
