What happens when USAGI is slow with an update to a newer iptables package? What if USAGI falls off the planet? What if the netfilter team implements ipv6 connection tracking that is not compatible with usagi's? There are numerous uncertainties and upstream is usually the best place to get things sorted out.
Actually, Yasuyuki Kozakai of the USAGI project is now a netfilter team core member and has some IPv6 connection tracking support in kernel 2.6.15. So this maybe be sorted upstream anyway. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
