Package: apt-cacher-ng
Version: 0.8.8-1~bpo8+1

Dear Maintainer,

I am getting this message from my apt-cacher-ng cron job:

/etc/cron.daily/apt-cacher-ng:
Error: cannot fetch
http://localhost:3142/acng-report.html?doExpire=Start+Expiration&abortOnErrors=aOe,
HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found

If I log in on the machine, and try to fetch the URL with curl, it works
just fine, but if I execute /etc/cron.daily/apt-cacher-ng I get the same
error message as above.

I checked with strace -f -e connect /etc/cron.daily/apt-cacher-ng and it
sends the request to the upstream proxy server that apt-cacher-ng uses
to access the Debian mirror.

If I comment out the Proxy: line in /etc/apt-cacher-ng/zz_debconf.conf
the expiration task starts normally.

I am not sure if it's intended behaviour that the expiration task uses a
proxy to connect back to the machine running apt-cacher-ng, so I'm
filing this bug report.

I am using the version in jessie-backports repository, in case that is
relevant.

Thank you,

- Danny
