Package: less
Version: 481-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I have re-installed my debian testing desktop from scratch and wondered why I
have
difficulties to navigate the manual pages. It uses /usr/bin/pager which is
managed by the alternatives system. So I tried to establish my preferred choice:

# sudo update-alteratives --config pager

doesn't feature less. So I conclude the package less does not register with the
alternatives system correctly.

Please fix this. If less is considered too buggy to be default, please decrease
its priority appropriately.

Many thanks (right now in busy sysadmin mode, otherwise there would be a patch,
sorry)
