mbed TLS already has some autopkgtests which do something similar I think: https://sources.debian.net/src/mbedtls/2.2.1-2/debian/tests/ I hoping to be able to remove polarssl at some point once everything's transitioned over, so this probably won't be fixed in polarssl unstable. James
