Package: ftp.debian.org Bug #811007 requests the removal of xchat since its upstream is dead and the actively maintained fork hexchat is already in Debian. As hexchat already has a plugin that does the same thing as xchat-xsys for xchat, there is no reason to keep xchat-xsys.
