Package: pm-utils Version: 1.4.1-15 Severity: important
Hi, I've recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo G70-70, model 80HW) Since I own it, any debian version I've tested (stable and testing) were leading to the same problem : I can put the computer to suspend-to-ram, but when I wake-up it, it will randomly either : - Reboot - Kernel Panic (CAPS LOCK blinking, no more control, black screen without backlight) - seem awake (black screen, no backlight, keyboard not responsive) - resume properly : screen is on, everything is OK. I've noticed that it will resume correctly more often if I resume it a few seconds/minutes after having putted it on suspend, and it will always fail after a whole night. I've also tried TuxOnIce suspend-to-disk, but had the same behavior (good resume if powered on just after suspend, fail if wait for a night...) I've tried to blacklist mei_me and mei modules, while in singleuser mode, but no more success... I'm ready to test patches, and other things ! -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages pm-utils depends on: ii powermgmt-base 1.31+nmu1 Versions of packages pm-utils recommends: ii ethtool 1:4.2-1 ii hdparm 9.43-2 ii kbd 2.0.3-2 ii procps 2:3.3.11-3 ii vbetool 1.1-3 Versions of packages pm-utils suggests: ii cpufrequtils 008-1 pn radeontool <none> ii wireless-tools 30~pre9-8 -- no debconf information
