Ok, no matter how I tried, I still can't reproduce this issue.
Tried several versions of qemu (including the one mentioned
in this bugreport), tried different windows installations
(some old and heavily fragmented, some new not fragmented
significantly), different drive options, -- to no avail.

I'm not saying the bug does not exist.  Maybe it is just
not easy to hit due to some timing requiriments/differences.

However, you STILL didn't answer to my question which I repeated
3 times now:
