The advantage of conserver's logging and replay is that it starts when the daemon is started and logs all consoles without needing to manually start some other program like screen and run a bunch of programs in it. It also logs even while someone is logged into the port, while termnet in screen would tie up the console and prevent any other uses of it. So termnet in screen wouldn't work very well. Something like ttyd with logging might work. -- see shy jo
